StoryBalu (Chaitu) is a topper throughout his academic life and he believes in nothing but success and successful people.
In comes his ‘Maradalu’ Mahalakshmi (Tamannah) from the village to study. At the start, Balu dominates Mahalakshmi and gives her instructions. In no time, she picks up and overtakes him. In between this, she develops feelings for Balu but it is his ego and self-pride which brings problems in their lives.
What happens to Mahalakshmi’s love? Does Balu change his attitude? All this forms the rest of the story.

Performances
Naga Chaitanya gave a spirited performance and he is yet to come out of his blank facial expressions in few scenes. Overall, his confidence and positive body language covers up.

Tamannah has shrunk in her figure and looks a bit skinny. However, she has scored with a significant performance and justified her presence to the fullest. Of course, there are few places where she shines with her glamour as well.

Nandu comes up with a decent act and though his role is limited, he made his presence felt. He has the potential to deliver more if given meaty roles.

Naresh was natural, Dharmavarapu brought few smiles, K R Vijaya was matured, Vijay Kumar was alright. The others did their bit as required and added value to the film.

Analysis
The film gives a very interesting punch with titles. It’s first of kind titles and one needs to watch how it went on humorously and intelligently. At the same time it gives an appeal that we are getting into a stuff that appeals for the educated crowds.
Sukumar’s school of thought has always been unusual and his focus has been on intense emotions and relationships. Holding the experience of working as lecturer of Mathematics earlier, he could convincingly chalk out this script with convincing college atmosphere in first half. On the other hand, he showed the flashes of brilliance by creating peppy scenes and logical comedy.
First half is good with full dose of energy along with kids, the second half fails to grip the audience at many moments due to predictable emotions and ending. The humor dose was also not up to the requirement in second half since the first half was on top. The director has kept all his energies in first half and got confused to carry on with second half. He might have taken better care as it’s just a single line story.
Coming to the music part, the pity is the lyrics are very beautiful but the singers killed them. Care must have been taken to make the lyrics audible and clear.
While the director was able to strike a chord instantly with the college going audience, he was unable to give the required maturity in the sentimental and melodramatic scenes. This may not go well with B, C center audiences for sure and may appeal to a small section of A audience.

H-1B Visa Petition Process To Get Cheaper

An electronic registration system for H-1B work visa, the most sought after by India's IT professionals, could save American businesses more than $23 million over the next 10 years, a top US immigration agency has said.

To be published on Thursday, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) proposes to establish an advance registration process for US employers seeking to file H-1B petitions for foreign workers in specialty occupations.

The proposed electronic system would minimise administrative burdens and expenses related to the H-1B petition process including reducing the need for employers to submit petitions for which visas would not be available under the statutory visa cap, USCIS said.

"The proposed rule would create a more efficient and cost-effective process for businesses interested in bringing workers in specialty occupations to the United States," said USCIS Director Alejandro Mayorkas.

Improving the H-1B petition process is part of USCIS's ongoing efforts to leverage new ideas and innovation to streamline our operations and enhance customer service, he said.

Under the proposed rule, employers seeking to petition for H-1B workers subject to the statutory cap would register electronically with USCIS, a process that would take an estimated 30 minutes to complete.

Before the petition filing period begins, USCIS would select the number of registrations predicted to exhaust all available visas. Employers would then file petitions only for the selected registrations.

"The registration system would save employers the effort and expense of filing H-1B petitions, as well as Labor Condition Applications, for workers who would be unable to obtain visas under the statutory cap," the press release said.

The US had recently hiked visa fees in certain categories of H1B and L1, mainly used by Indian software professionals, to fund security measures along the US-Mexico border.

In the south moviedom’s pecking order, it is Rajinikanth, the chasm and, then, the rest. But with the recent humongous success of Adhurs and Brindavanam, it will now become Rajinikanth, Junior NTR, the chasm and, well, the rest.

The Telugu superstar — grandson of the legendary NTR — will reportedly be paid Rs 9 crore for his next movie set to go on the floors early next month, putting him within striking distance of the Tamil superhero in terms of sheer box office appeal and money paid per film.

Neither ‘Young Tiger’ Junior NTR nor the makers of the yet-to-be-named movie - it is being produced by BVSN Prasad and directed by Surender Reddy — have come out in the open on the remuneration issue, but sources close to the star confirmed the Rs 9 crore figure to Bangalore Mirror.

Junior NTR is one of the few Telugu stars who is a sure draw even in Bangalore. His new movie Shakti, due for release, has fetched him over Rs 7 crore, sources said. With this, Junior NTR races past all the GenNext heroes in south India, except Tamil star Suriya, whose rates too have risen exponentially. But there is a catch in Suriya’s case: He commanded Rs 5 crore in 2010 because that was the cumulative amount from the tri-release - in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi - of his latest hit Raktha Charitra. His rates could go up even further as he has demanded a share in the Telugu market whenever his films are dubbed.

While Junior NTR’s current worth leaves most of us slack-jawed, industry analysts say there is nothing mystifying about it. His remuneration, they explain, is directly proportional to his track record and the fan base he commands.

Both Adhurs and Brindavanam, released in 2010, went on to gross more than Rs 30 crore. There are reports that the distribution rights of Shakti have garnered Rs 10 crore in just the Nizam area.

Tollywood Boom

It is not just NTR. The pay packet of other Telegu stars too is getting bloated. In recent years, no film featuring an A list star has been made with less than Rs 15 crore. On an average close to 20-25 per cent of a film’s budget goes as the hero’s remuneration and another 40 per cent for other actors and technicians. Only 30-40 per cent is actually spent on the shooting of a movie.

But even as the rates of stars have shot up astronomically, the Telugu film industry’s success rate at the box office remains dismally low. Last year, the debacle of films like Puli, Khaaleja and Orange came as a rude shock to the industry and generated a debate on the need for revising the remuneration of stars to keep budgets under control. Christchurch:  A woman pulled from the rubble of New Zealand's earthquake three days ago got married today, in a poignant glimmer of hope for a country coming to terms with the disaster.

Emma Howard wed partner Chris Greenslade in a church just yards from a school hall where the families of the 200-plus missing were told there was little chance of more survivors being found.

As distraught relatives of those missing filed into the hall to be addressed by rescue authorities, Howard acknowledged she was fortunate the wedding was going ahead as planned.

Prior to the service, she said she was lucky to be alive after spending more than six hours trapped in the Pyne Gould Corporation Building after Tuesday's devastating 6.3 earthquake in New Zealand's second largest city.

"I'm so lucky I didn't get under my desk," the 23-year-old accountant

 told Radio New Zealand. "My desk was crushed by the corner of the 

concrete (ceiling) above me that came down."

She is so lucky and he is too too… lucky.

NTR Shakti to be dubbed into Tamil

The film Shakti, starring NTR Jr and Ileana in the lead roles, will also have a Tamil dubbed version. This will be the first time that a NTR Jr film is having a simultaneous Tamil version release.


Shakti, a socio-fantasy with lots of action being made with a budget of Rs 45 crore, has lots of computer graphics and special visual effects. The story and plot are kept under wraps. The shooting is being conducted at various locations across India.


The film is being produced by Ashwini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies and directed by Meher Ramesh who earlier made Kantri with NTR Jr and Billa with Prabhas. The music for Shakti has been composed by mani sharma.

Bollywood damsel Bipasha Basu landed herself in a big trouble when she posted a picture of two children tying her shoelaces and tweeted, "I need to learn to tie shoe laces ASAP! Embarrassed that I can’t! No patience grrrrr! Promise I am not spoilt! Will learn soon.”

This news spread like a fire and people started accusing the actor of child labour. "Bipasha should be arrested for this act. 

Only then these film studios will not do any child labour,” posted a follower. Another tweet read, "Disgraceful Bips – cannot believe you are dumb enough to add this photo on Twitter!”

Bips later deleted the picture and justified the act by saying, "Well the ppl helping me in the pix r my friend n sister, Who I help often with the same! So am sorry if it hurt anyones sentiments! (sic)”

But her fans didn’t buy this explanation. In the deleted tweet she confessed she doesn’t know how to tie laces and in her explanation she stated she does the same (tie laces) for the children in the pic.

Bipasha was in the capital for an event. 

When quizzed about the twitter controversy, she stated, "I think you should read my post on twitter. It’s not child labour, that’s all I can say."

Others who graced the event were: Sreenu Vaitla, Meher Ramesh, Surender Reddy, Dr. KL Narayana, Kodali Nani, BVSN Prasad, Bapineedu and Ganesh Babu.


Speaking on the occasion, NTR said, "Boyapati Srinu and I always wanted to work together. I'm very happy it's finally happening now. This one will be an altogether different film for me in terms of theme and setting."


With three hits [Bhadra, Tulasi and Simha] in a row, Boyapati Srinu is among the most sought after directors and will look to maintain the success streak with this film. He said, "I work hard for every film of mine. I hope I will reach the expectations of one and all."


"This is the first film to be made under the banner of Creative Commercials Media And Entertainment Limited. The first schedule will be held from April 1 to 16. Shruti Hassan is cast opposite NTR. The other cast is under finalization," added producer Alexander Vallabha.
