School in 1986, to become a 2/4 wheeler mechanic, part-time and garment exporter, full-time.Since then gradually working his way into modeling for advertis due to Business exigencies and print media and into Tamil films. After the surgery for his broken vertebra he lost feeling in his legs. Then he recovered and walked all the way form his home in Madras to the Balaji Shrine in Tirupathi in Andhra Pradesh.

Based in the south Indian film industry Kamal Haasan is a highly acclaimed and highly versatile Indian film actor. He a was born to Rajalakshmi and Srinivasan as their fourth and youngest child. Kamal’s  all three sibling has the suffix Haasan as a sign of his friendship to one Mr. Haasan.     
He entered the film world as a child actor at the tender age of 6 in the film Kalathur Kannamma and has been associated with the film world since then.  Kamal Haasan learnt the fine arts in his early years instead of school work.
When he was a teenager, he started working as an assistant choreographer in movies and it was during this time that his long and fruitful association with notable Tamil film director, K. Balachander began.

He has won a total of 171 awards which is more than any other actor in the world living or dead. Kamal was named as kalaignani meaning – an idiol of art, by M. Karunanidhi for his classical work towards tamil cinema.
In Kamal upcoming film Dasavatharam, he is playing 10 different roles, an act which is the second of its kind in the world, after the Tamil movie Dambachari (1936). Kamal  was married to Vani Ganapathy and later married Sarika with whom he has two daughters (Shruthi and Akshara) and with whom he is now separated.

Though Saravanan had a sound knowledge about film due to his father’s presence, he had no plans to step into film industry. As his close friends say, ‘We were completely astonished to hear that Saravanan is going to make his debut in Tamil film industry’. First, he joined a garments factory as a merchandizing manager. For everyone’s surprise, his first month salary was Rs. 1000/- and he gifted his mom with a saree.
Directors Mani Rathnam and Vasanth had just met him at an occasion and called forth a photo shoot, which he took up casually. Well, a particular snapshot was about him putting his around Simran that he felt shy…. Then as he made his debut with ‘Nerukku Ner’, he happened to be the uprising star.

His debut Film Nerrukku Ner was released in 1997. Directed by Vasanth, he teamed up with his college mate Actor Vijay. Actress Simran paired up with him. The very next year beginning had his film ‘Kadhale Nimmadhi’ where he paired up with Actor Murali. The film was released in January 1998. During the same year, his film ‘Sandhipoma’ was released in June.  The very next year in 1999, ‘Periyanna’ had him featured alongside with Actor Vijayakanth. Again, Surya was casted by Director Vasanth in his ‘Poovellam Kettupar’ and it was the same film where Jyothika was introduced. Indeed, Director Vasanth was the matchmaker for both of them miraculously. Again, Surya-Jyothika paired up for ‘Uyirile Kalandhadhu’ that hit the screens where his father Sivakumar donned the same role.

The film won him the biggest laurels across the globe as hit the screens on November 14, 2001. ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ directed by Gowtham Menon had again made Surya, Jyothika to pair and this was the moment when both of them became so closer. The film was released on August 1st, 2009 and within couple of months for Diwali another magnum opus ‘Pithamaghan’ was released for Diwali. Directed by Bala, the film had Surya and Vikram and won several awards…
On May 6, 2004, ‘Perazhagan’ had Surya and Jyothika playing dual roles. During the same month, another film ‘Aayitha Ezhuthu’ directed by Mani Rathnam was released on May 21, 2004…. The film had Madhavan, Trisha, Meera Jasmine, and Siddarth together in lead role.
And nearly for a year, he didn’t take up any projects….
